New elevators in Turkey fall under 2014/33/AB, the Lifts Directive; door safety is looked for in practice under EN 81-20. Landing-door fire behavior also depends on the EN 81-58 test and the E / EI / EW class on the project. The door maker’s job is to bring that frame down to size, panel and guide. A general “quality manufacture” sentence does not replace the specification.

Why is the landing door the visible safety layer?
The landing door closes the shaft entrance at every stop. It stays locked so a passenger does not fall into the void when the car is away, so the shaft does not carry smoke between floors like a chimney in a fire, and so an unauthorised person does not enter the shaft. Opening before the car arrives depends on the lock-and-coupler mechanism. That is why fire rating and clear opening are written on the landing-door order. Calling the cabin door a “fire door” is technically wrong.
The ECHO landing-door range covers 2-panel central, 2- and 3-panel telescopic, 4- and 6-panel central opening. Central opening is for a symmetric face and a wide clear opening; telescopic is for a tight side-wall allowance. The wrong opening type means breaking the shaft wall or shrinking the clear opening.
Is a landing door enough without a cabin door?
No. The cabin door separates the passenger from the shaft while the car is moving. Light curtain or safety edge, panel gaps and sill level are tested here. If panel count and opening type (central / telescopic) do not match between landing and cabin, coupler alignment is improvised on site; that produces both noise and early wear. Size confirmation, panel and lock-and-coupler stay on the same campus, so the wait for “the wrong coupler arrived” on a site revision is shorter. Delivery to Çukurova and neighboring provinces is planned on pallets; time is written on the quote from address, floor count and fire rating. A fixed “next-day delivery” promise is not published, because the door is not cut until the shaft size is clear.
